Community Based Research
We are actively exploring community-based research opportunities through our connections with the following organizations:
SEARCH Canada: Tim Parker, Psychology, has an appointment as Research Development Advisor (RDA) with SEARCH Canada to facilitate applied research between Augustana faculty members and East Central Health. A particular focus of this work will involve the Healthy Living Centre and physiology lab located at the Edgeworth Centre.
Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Development: This new initiative with ALES is intended to focus relevant rural research and public programming in ways that serve the needs of communities.
Collaboration with Health Sciences: including Nursing and Rehabilitation Medicine.
