August 2012  
August 15 Tuition Deposit due for all students registered prior to Aug 1. Registrants who have not paid the deposit will have their registrations cancelled.
September 2012  
September 1 Last day to apply through Bear Tracks for permission to graduate at Fall Convocation.
September 3 Labour Day; University buildings closed.
September 4 Augustana New Student Conference.
September 5 Classes Begin in Augustana Faculty.
September 5-6 Orientation for all Returning Students in Augustana Faculty
September 18 Fall Registration Deadline: last day to add/delete Fall Term and Fall/Winter Term courses. Students withdrawing after this date through October 7 will be assessed 50% fees for withdrawn courses.
September 19 - 25 Registrations by students to audit or to change from ‘credit’ to ‘audit’ in Fall Term and Fall/Winter Term courses will be accepted only during this period.
September 28 Fall Term Refund Deadline for six-week courses: students withdrawing from courses offered in the first six weeks of Fall Term after this date will be assessed full fees.

Payment Deadline: last day for payment of Fall Term fees.

October 5 Fall Term Refund Deadline: students withdrawing after this date will be assessed full fees

Last day of withdrawal from six-week courses offered in the first half of the Fall Term
October 8 Thanksgiving Day; University Buildings Closed.
October 19 Augustana Campus Preview Day
Last day of classes for six-week courses offered in the first half of Fall Term.
October 20 University of Alberta Open House
October 22 First day of second half-term AUPAC classes at Augustana Faculty
October 25-26 Augustana Faculty Fall Break; classes withdrawn for Augustana Faculty courses only.
November 2012  
November 7 Last Day for Withdrawal from Fall Term courses
November 9 Last day to drop six-week courses offered in the second half of the Fall Term.
November 11 Remembrance Day; University buildings closed
November 12 Remembrance Day Holiday: all University buildings closed
November 13 University of Alberta Fall Term class break; classes withdrawn except courses offered by Augustana Faculty.
November 16 Fall Term Refund Deadline for six-week courses: students withdrawing from courses offered in the last six weeks of Fall Term after this date will be assessed full fees.
November 20 & 21 University of Alberta Fall Convocation
November 23 Augustana Faculty Preview Day

Last day for withdrawal from six-week courses offered in the second half of Fall Term.
December 2012  
December 6 Last Day of classes at Augustana Faculty
December 11-18 Final Exam Period for Augustana Faculty
