PARAMEDIC ASSOCIATION OF CANADA DEFINITION OF COMPETENCE
According to Canadian Medical Association accreditation standards, students must perform each hospital (clinical) or ambulance (field) competency with a patient at least twice successfully.
EMT PROGRAM PRECEPTOR RESOURCES
The online logbook for the EMT Program may be found at www.paramediclogbook.ca. User names and passwords may be requested from
or by calling 1.800.590.9984. It is each student's responsibility to ensure that preceptors have access to preceptor resources, and are familiar with the scope of practice, required forms, and the FAQ's from each logbook.
All students should view the EMT Student Practicum Presentation. If preceptors and employers want to know what we tell our students, they are welcome to view this presentation as well.
